  • Signed drawings where required

Orders cannot be cancelled or amended once accepted without our prior agreement.

Unless stated otherwise:

  • all prices are shown in pounds sterling
  • prices exclude VAT
  • any applicable VAT will be charged at the prevailing rate

We may change our prices at any time.

Any delivery date or lead time provided is an estimate unless specifically confirmed by us in writing as guaranteed.

We will make reasonable efforts to meet quoted delivery dates but cannot accept liability for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Delivery may be made in separate consignments.

You must ensure that:

  • somebody is available to accept delivery
  • the delivery address is correct
  • suitable access is available for the delivery vehicle
  • any necessary unloading arrangements are available

Additional charges may apply where delivery fails due to circumstances attributable to the Customer.

9. Delivery Damage and Shortages

Goods should be checked on delivery or as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

Any visible:

  • incorrect goods

should be reported to us in writing within 48 hours of delivery.

Please include photographs where applicable.

Where packaging is visibly damaged, this should also be noted with the carrier where reasonably possible.

Do not use any product which you believe may be damaged, defective or unsafe.

10. Risk

Risk in the goods passes to the Customer when delivery is completed or when the goods are collected by the Customer or its appointed carrier.

The Customer is responsible for the goods from that point onwards.

11. Ownership of Goods

Ownership of goods remains with Escalar until we have received full payment for:

  • those goods; and
  • any other sums due to us by the Customer.

Until ownership passes, the Customer must keep the goods in satisfactory condition and identifiable as goods supplied by Escalar.

Where legally permitted, we may recover unpaid goods which remain our property.

12. Product Information

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, photographs and dimensions are accurate.

However:

  • images are for illustration purposes
  • colours and finishes may vary
  • dimensions and weights may be subject to normal manufacturing tolerances
  • specifications may occasionally change

We may make minor changes to a product where these do not materially affect its intended use, safety or compliance.
